The hatchback version of the Honda City was highly and speculated for years. After all, why did the automaker take so long to bring the model to Brazil? Probably to avoid opening up internal competition, as it would go head to head with the Fit minivan. So much so that when the City Hatch was launched, the Fit was discontinued. We evaluated the Touring version (top of the line), which has a suggested price of R$132,600 with solid paintwork only available in white.
Design
The silhouette of the City Hatch is that traditional for a car in its category. A large glass lid at the rear provides access to the trunk project follows the market trend towards wider and lower hatchback models, to favor a sporty design. The new City marks the debut of Honda SENSING, a package of safety and driver assistance technologies.
